Quote Book ~ Quotes To Add To Your Book
I thought I would do the quotes today to add to your quote book...
~"S'now place like home."
~"To make a winter friend, find a carrot and some snow, gather up your friends, and roll a bunch of snow!"
~"A sledding we will go."
~"Free snowmen. Some assembly required."
~"Take time to chase the snowflakes"
I thought I would share some snow / snowman type quotes today...since so many of you...I'm betting...got lots of snow. I just got inches and inches of rain here! I figured you'll have lots of photos to use with these quotes. Anyway, remember to stop back again for more quotes next week...and I wanted to add...no idea who or where I got these quotes...I've been saving them for my pages. So enjoy the quotes!
Ps. Before I forget...you want to check out http://bigredscraps.ning.com/ They have an Art Gallery that lots of CTMH consultants put their artwork on to share. You'll get to see lots of great ideas! So, if you have a few minutes it's worth checking out!

Sneak Peek ~Wings Workshop On The Go
I thought today I would show you a "sneak peek" of the "Wings Workshop On The Go". You can order this WOTG starting January 1st on my website. I think once you see it...you'll want it for yourself! It comes with everything you see in the photo...and all of it is just $29.95 (of course you have to add tax & s/h). It also includes a brand new item to CTMH...it's a spray pen. I haven't used it yet but have heard only good stuff from other consultants. I also love how they used the stamp set to make a really pretty flower. I just love stamp sets that you can use in different ways...to come up with great stuff. Anyway, here's the "sneak peek" and I wanted to remind you...until you can order this WOTG...there are LOTS of other great products! So, if you see anything in the catalog you might want to buy it before it's gone! (almost all of the paper packs...except four sets...are retiring and there are other products getting ready to retire too!) AND, for the next few days we still have the December "Plenty For Twenty" special and the "December Stamp Of The Month" deal too!

Parents Article ~ 55 Ways To Clear Clutter ~ More Space For Scrapbooking / Stamping!
I received an email this morning and thought I would share it with you...since I don't have any art work to share today. The email is from Parents.com...Streamline Your Favorite Home Space...55 Ways To Clear Clutter. The article had some helpful ideas. I figured, if you clear clutter from your house it will free up space for more scrapbooking/stamping products. So, my sharing this info. with you is a win-win. :) Now I'm off to put some of the ideas to use. 2011 is right around the corner...I need less clutter in my house and more scrapbooking being done! How about you?

12x12 Framed Gift ~ Magnifique Paper and Stickers
Today I am going to keep the post short and sweet (like me LOL!!). So, here is the other gift I made...used the same paper pack and stickers as yesterday's gift I posted (check post 12/25). I love how it came out...just a little different, but just as nice. So, what do you think?

12x12 Framed Gifts ~ Magnifique Paper and Stickers
Hopefully everyone is having a great Christmas Day...thought I would share the last of the gifts I made...I'll show one today and one on Sunday. I bought a 12x12 frame from a craft store (not shown in the photos since they are too hard to get good photos of). I then made a page that they can add photos and journaling to (if they don't just want photos). I used Magnifique paper and stickers from the Level 1 paper pack. I think the gifts came out great, and I think I am going to make some pages for me to keep...since I fell in love with the way they came out.

Candy Bag ~ Tropical Christmas
Well, I was able to finish the last two gifts I had to make...I thought I would share a part of one today and then share the rest of them on Saturday and Sunday. The part I am sharing is on the outside so the receiver of this gift can see it (incase they are looking at the blog...don't want to ruin their surprise before they open their gifts). I made this cute candy bag as their tag on the outside of the gift. I used "Tropical Christmas" (C1292), a scrap of cardstock, and my markers to fill it in. I just love this stamp set since I live in California. I think it came out cute and wanted to share it!

Art & Soul Video ~ Pulling It All Together~ My Creations Mix & Mingle Album & Liquid Glass Faux Painting Technique
Since I'm not done my two gifts yet I thought I would share a new Art & Soul video instead since it just came out. Go check out "Pulling It All Together". It goes over making an adorable "My Creations Mix & Mingle Album" (Z1334), along with some other really fun projects. In the video they show how to stamp with pizzazz, and a really cool faux painting technique using (my favorite) "Liquid Glass". (I plan on trying that as soon as I can go scrapbook just for fun!) Anyway, I know everyone has busy schedules with the holidays so I thought it would nice to take a few minutes just for yourself and relax. So, enjoy the video!

Reminder: December Almost Gone ~ Go Buy Some Stuff To Get The Stamp Of The Month!!
I still have two gifts left to make...and since they aren't made yet I have no art work to share. I am hoping to be done by tomorrow. Once they are done...I will share them. Until then you might want to check out December's "Stamp Of The Month" to see if you want to get it (at a discount or free!)...because we only have a week and 1/2 left of December (if you can believe it!) and then you can no longer get this set.

Merry "Kiss" mas! Hershey Kiss Candy Cans
I thought it would be nice if my daycare children put together a gift to give Mom / Dad...except they are 5 months old, 20 months old and just turned 3 years old. So, I ended up doing most of the gift (of course) but the parts they did...came out adorable! I thought I would share their cute gifts with everyone (hopefully their families won't see this post~and the 3 year old still needs to finish her can). Inside the cans are Hershey kisses...and on the back I put Merry "Kiss" mas!! with the child's name and the year. I used chocolate cardstock (X5643) and ink (Z2111). (the red ink is their thumb print) I think they came out just too cute!

Sneak Peek ~ January Wings Workshop On The Go
I don't have any projects to share today...had to finish my holiday shopping. I think I am now all done...yeah! Well, except...for the wrapping....not a job I look forward to. Oh well, it's part of the fun gift-giving thing...love to watch the gift receiver open their gifts. I do still have 2 gifts to make this week and I'll share them once I get them done. But for now I thought I would show you a "sneak peek" of what's coming in January. I wasn't sure I would like the new paper pack...but I sure did once I got it in the mail. You'll be able to order all the new stuff starting January 1st on my website. Since CTMH is changing over to two catalogs starting in February they decided to offer a small booklet just for January with LOTS of great items on sale...you just have to buy the "Workshop On The Go" to get the special prices. Once you see the items...you'll want to buy them! And if you live close to me and want to do a crop using the new WOTG let me know and we can set up a date!

Gift bag ~ Creative Basics Mistletoe, Sparkles, and Mistletoe Assortment
So, I found out I needed another gift...didn't know that there are two food women that run the school lunch area. I put together another bag (see post 12/7 to see the other bags I made) so that my children can give it to the librarian (so the food women will get the same gift). In her bag we put a "cup of coffee" in it. Anyway, I thought I would share the bag with you. I used the "Creative Basics Mistletoe" paper pack, green Sparkles, and the red flower from the "Mistletoe Level 2 Assortment" (which is a brad). I think it came out cute. Hopefully she'll like it too.

Gift For Teacher ~ Mistletoe and Creative Basics Mistletoe Paper Packs ~ Note Pad
Well, I was able to get one of the projects done to show you. I made it for one of my children's teachers. I'll finish the other one and post it tomorrow. I used a note pad I got at a craft store. It has magnets on the back so they can hang it up if they want to and I made it so they can pull the note pad out and put another one in once they use up the pad. I used a piece of cardstock and a small piece of paper from the Mistletoe paper pack (X7130B), and I used the "Creative Basics Mistletoe" (X5811) paper pack. I think it came out really cute...hopefully she'll like it too!

Card Holder ~ Personal Gift
It's pretty late in the day for me to be posting...I was working on a project that I wanted to share with you guys...but with my daycare children feeling under the weather...we were all off schedule today. So I will need to finish that project before I can post it. Maybe it will be tomorrow we'll see how I feel tonight. Anyway, I did find a project that I did awhile back and didn't post it yet...so here it is...I took a small tin and covered it with paper and put my business card on the front. I can use it to hold my cards when I am out and about. It makes it more personal than a plain old card holder. I thought it was cute. These would make a really nice gift for someone too!

Splendor Paper Pack
I thought I would post this photo today since there are so many items I've been showing for the holidays. Figured we could use a small break from all the holiday type stuff. It's been kind-of cold (at least on the East Coast) and I thought this photo is just so sunny and spring like! So, if you have some time...they used the "Splendor" paper pack...it's still available...you can order it right now....but it's getting ready to retire...so take a break from the holidays...and pull out your spring / summer photos and scrapbook them. And remember...warm weather will be back before we know it!

Cute Candy Tree ~ A Timber Stamp Set With Sparkles
I have to tell you...I love the stamp set "A Timber" (A1110)...it's an amazing set...and for $7.95...you really can't go wrong...that's really a deal for this stamp set. I used it yesterday (see post 12/7) and I used it again today. Today's cute project I used a piece of retired paper from yesterday's kit...then I stamped the tree from "A Timber" stamp set using "New England Ivy" ink (Z2135) and added some bling using Sparkles (a few from each assortment) Z1327 & Z1326. I think it came out adorable! Plus I am getting closer to having everyone on my list a nice, little gift to give them. Gotta love that! So, I'm hoping you've been busy too?! If not, and you need any help putting in an order for yourself or someone else let me know!

Gift Bags ~ A Timber Stamp Set With Sparkles
About a week and half ago I went to a Holiday Workshop that my upline, Dawn, and 2 of her friend's had...I posted about it and showed you the cute candy bag gift I made there. My mom was visiting then and not really a craft person...crazy, huh!?!...anyway, I took home a few of the projects figuring I would just have to find time and do them later. So, mom left yesterday, and today I did one of the really cute projects...again I didn't take a photo so I changed it up a little. Plus I didn't have the stamp set she used. The kit had the paper "Evensong" in it, which is retired, but we have other holiday type paper you can use. I used the stamp set "A Timber" (A1110), cranberry ink, and I added Red Sparkles (Z1326) to give it a little bling. I plan to put some chocolate or a big holiday cookie inside when it gets closer to giving the gifts out (I made two for my children to give to the librarian and food ladies at school). They are easy to make, and dress up whatever you want to hand out for the holidays!
