Recipes Booklets ~ Valentine's Day ~ Bunny Love and A Little Everything Stamp Sets

I just finished making 2 of the booklets we plan to give out when my daughter sells her Girl Scout cookies. It has 5 recipes inside on things you can make using the cookies. We thought it would be a nice way to thank people for buying cookies and supporting her troop. I'm just not sure which way I like the cover better. Which way do you think? I used 3 stamp sets (the little heart one is retired but we have other cute ones you could use). I used "A Little Everything" D1408 which will be available starting February 1st and "Bunny Love" B1324 (which is available now). The bunny stamp...s/he is blowing bubbles and I added a heart stamp instead...for Valentine's Day. Hopefully I can get a bunch done in the next few days!

Inspirations ~ Wings Level 1, Level 2, and My Stickease Assortment (sticker pack)

I got a few minutes in my crazy schedule to take photos of some of the layouts I did with the "Wings" paper packs Level 1 (X7135A), Level 2 (X7135B), and the sticker pack (My Stickease® Assortment X7135C). The layouts came together pretty easy and I love how they came out. I did put some small pieces of white paper to cover the faces. I just don't feel ok showing them (sorry). It was a little crazy at my house today...I had an interview last night (for my daycare) and the little girl started today. I had a full house with 6 children. I was hoping to get some art work done last night but was just too tired after my long day. But we are excited (yeah!) to have another new buddy join us! I can't believe we are already half done January...where does the time go? I've been pretty busy here...getting all my business paperwork together (including the w-10's I have to give out to my daycare families), planning my son's birthday party, getting ready to sell Girl Scout cookies (I am working on putting a little booklet together to give out when we sell the cookies...it will have a few recipes using the cookies), and I went to a fun crop on Saturday. I did get a few pages done while I was there. Which I will share soon...I just need to take the photos. I'm such a goof-ball...I have been trying to do the "Quotes For Your Book" on Thursdays but yesterday I thought it was Thursday (my days are all mixed up)...I'm so bad, I didn't realize it was Wednesday until right before I went to bed. Needless to say, I was a little upset since I thought it was my last day of the week until the weekend. Silly me! Anyway, I haven't been able to get to the store to get adhesive to finish my "Wings" pages. As soon as I get some more done I'll post the photos. So, in the meantime, I decided to share with you today an "Art & Soul" video...It's called "PBS Webisodes: Rock 'N Roll Stamping". Stamp of The Month ~~ January 2011 ~ Find Your Style

Check out the Stamp of the Month for January...it's a beauty! The set is called "Find Your Style" (D1452). If you look closely at the stamps you'll see words are used to make the shapes. I wasn't sure I would like this set but once I received it in the mail I was really glad I got it! Ask how you can get it at a discount or FREE!

Wings Level 1 Paper Pack ~ Scrapbook or Cardmaking!

I started to scrapbook with the "Wings Level 1 Paper Pack" today and put together two pages...with ideas on the other pages...and got the photos organized. But I'm not going to post them yet...I ran out of adhesive and want to get them more done before I share them. I can say, it's so easy when you want to scrapbook, but don't have a lot of time...to use the level 1 pack. It comes with stickers which really makes it easy to get a more finished look to your pages and feel good (as long as you don't run out of adhesive like me) that you got a few photos out of the box and onto pages! The level 1 paper packs are also great if you like to make cards instead of scrapbooking...you can cut the pages, fold them, and add some stickers...and your done, and have some beautiful cards to give out!
