Art & Soul Video ~ Expressions Of Love For Mom ~ Priceless Love Word Puzzle Stamp Set, My Creations Cube & 3-Ring Binder ~ Beautiful Gifts For Mother's Day!

I thought I would share another Art & Soul video with you today. This one is an older one but has lots of great ideas. The video is called "Expressions of Love For Mom". I thought this video was right on time with Mother's Day right around the corner. At the end of the video they do talk about a special deal you can get...but since it's an older video the deal is no longer available...just thought I should mention it. But the stamp set "Priceless Love Word Puzzle" (D1348) is still available. And, I love the ideas that they share using "My Creations Cube" (Z1152)... it's very different than what I posted yesterday. Also, I love the album they shared. My Creations Cube ~ Sweetheart Paper and Stickers ~ Payment Box or Beautiful Gift!

Over the weekend I made this really cute "My Creations Cube" (Z1152)...it matches the "Welcome" sign I shared with you on Friday. I used the "Sweetheart" paper (X7134B), a few stickers from "Sweetheart Level 2 Assortment" (Z1386), and a few stickers from the Level 1 paperpack (X7134A). I also gave the edges a little "Cotton Candy" ink. I didn't seal the box...I left the top so it will open. So, you can use the box for many different things...if you're a daycare provider, you could use it to collect payments...or you can put mini albums inside (see video I posted a few days ago) to show off your daycare or family. That idea would also make a really nice gift to give someone. It would also be nice to hold paper and pens near your phone. As you can see there are lots of fun ideas on what to use this cute box for...so, now it's your turn to make one!      

Welcome Sign Using Sweetheart Paper & Posterboard Stamp Set

I thought today I would share a "Welcome" sign I made. I used the "Sweetheart" paper and 2 stickers from "My Stickease Assortment" (X7134C). I also used the "Posterboard Alphabet" (E1014) (with black ink) to make the letters. I just love this stamp set...it is so easy to use, and really dresses up the project! I added just a little "Cotton Candy" ink around the edges with a sponge dauber (which is great...no ink on my fingers when I was done). I think it came out super cute!

Birthday Card Using Wings Paper Pack

I thought I would share a card I made. My cousin's birthday was yesterday and I am planning to give her the card tonight when I see her. I used some scraps from my "Wings" paper pack. I just LOVE this paper pack! I also used a stamp set that was a SOTM a little while back called "True Friends" (D1406), and I added a few "Opaques" or Adhesive Gems (Z1335) to give it a little bling. I left the inside blank to put a personal note to her. While I'm typing this, I am thinking this card could really be used...not just for birthdays...it would work as a card to say I'm "thinking of you" or a "good-bye" card for a friend moving too. But today...this card it for a very special someone in my life. Hope she likes it!     

Art & Soul Video ~ PBS Webisodes: True Fit Folio Mini Albums~ Beautiful Albums Make Great Gifts!

I thought today I would share an older video found at Art & Soul called "PBS Webisodes: TrueFit Folio Mini Album". It shows you how to make these really great mini albums. If you buy a pack of the "True Fit Folios" (X1404) you get 5 folios...so you can make 5 different mini albums. These end up not costing much to make...and the end result I think will turn out beautiful! These would be nice to use to show off your daycare to prospective daycare families (if your a provider), or to give as a gift. I don't know too many people who don't have something going on in their lives that couldn't use these cute little memory albums (baby shower, wedding, child being born, a new home, a pet...oh, the list could keep going...but you get the idea)! So, check out the video, then buy what you need to make a bunch of these lovely albums!

Small Notebook ~ Sweetheart Paper and Beary Busy Stamp Set ~ A "Thank You" Beary Much Gift!

I thought I would share this fun, small notebook with you today. You can't tell from the photo but it's only 3 1/2" x 4 1/2" in size. The paper I used is called "Sweetheart" (X7134B) and the stamp set is called "Beary Busy" (C1409). I just love this set...see my post on 4/11/11 to see different stamps from the same set! This was really easy to put together...and it's a great size if you want to carry it around in your purse. It would also make a great "Thank You" gift to give out with your business information on the back (depending on what you do for a living). It wouldn't cost you much, but I think it would really help make you stand out from the crowd!

Thank You Card ~ Using Sophia Paper and Thank You Stamp Set

Today I thought I would post a "thank you" card I made. I put it together using "Sophia" paper and the stamp set "Thank You" (D1361). The flowers I used are just cut out from the paper...then I put a little bling (called sparkles in the catalog) on them to dress up the card a little. It's not real fancy...and I couldn't get a really good photo...but wanted to post it before I mailed it out! I think it's always nice to add a little "thank you(s)" in to our days...I teach my daycare children (& my own) to say "Thank You" and I like to lead by example. So this is headed to Lori's house...hope she likes it!

I thought I would share this fun note pad (5x8 in size) with you today. You could use a larger size too. These are really easy to put together...and I love how they dress up the note pads. They would make great gifts for Mother's Day too! The paper I used is "Magnifique" (x7127B) and the stamp set is called "Beary Busy" (C1409). I love this paper pack and the stamp set is just too adorable! I stamped a few extras and my daycare children enjoyed coloring them in too! I posted on 3/28 about using the "Sweetheart" level 1 paper pack (X7134A) and the stickers that match (X7134C). I did 4 pages...but only posted 2 of the pages at that time.
