Who Wouldn't Like Warm Winter Wishes?

I hope everyone had a few days off to enjoy their family (Merry Christmas to those who celebrate Christmas). I thought I'd share one more gift idea. I know it's past the holidays but this idea can be used for any theme gift that you might need. You can change the stamp set to fit the theme. I filled the container with cookies that I baked and a few peppermints to give it a holiday feel. It's just a little something to show I appreciate the person I gave the gift to. I think it came out cute.

Holiday Gift Idea ~ Beautiful Necklace Charms

I thought today I'd share the necklace charms I made for a bunch of my holiday gifts. I thought you guys might be interested in how I made them since I've had a few people ask me already. I used metal washers (from Home Depot). I used a black Sharpie on the rim (you could leave that off if you're ok with the silver washer side showing). I cut the paper to fit the circle (I hand cut because I was too lazy to pull out my Cricut and try to figure out the sizes). Then I used liquid glass (Z679) on both sides (you need to make sure it's 100% dry on one side before you do the other or it won't come out good). Once it was completely dry on both sides I put the string on (got that at the local craft store). Then I put them on the little card you get from inside the Polar Pals Card Kit (X8627) and used those cards as the holiday card to go with the gift. :)

Ps. As a side note: I saw one of the people that my daughter gave them to yesterday (they were for school teachers as their holiday gift) and she already had her's on and in the pouring rain just had to tell how much she loved it. Made my day (even getting totally wet).  

 

 

The top picture was the front side and the bottom picture was the back side. I made them 2 different designs so they could change them up once in a while.

Holiday Candy Gift Ideas ~ Look At How Cute These Are!

I thought today I'd share a few holiday gifts I made...I'm still working on another project (necklace charms) which I'll try to share on Friday. These are for my daughter's guy teachers. They are boxes of chocolate that I made a cute cover for. I used a stamp set "Wintry Wishes" (C1560) that you can only buy with hostess credits. So if you like the set and want to get it you need to hold a party (only good until January 31, 2014...after that this set will not be available even with the earned rewards).

I also made some cute tags with this set. I filled treat tubes (Z1823) with snowcap candy and added a little red shimmer trim tape (Z1848). These are for the guys that keep my daughter's school and my son's school nice and clean. Gotta take care of them too during the holidays. I like to tell everyone at their schools that I appreciate them. Just a little something to say "Thank You! Have a great holiday!"

Ps. The little pieces of yellow paper is covering up their name...if you are wondering. :)

Great Winter Time Cards!

I thought I'd share a few more ideas today on what you can make using the "Frosted" Paper Pack (X7175B). The two stamp sets used are "Christmas Village" (D1554) and "Classy Doily" (B1424). What I love about these cards are that they don't have to be used as Christmas cards if you didn't want them for that...they are just great winter time cards.

Cute Candy Gift Ideas ~ For Halloween and Winter Time Fun! Great For Stocking Stuffers!

I thought today I'd share a few more items I made for the craft event I was at on Saturday. I made these cute candy gifts. Some were for Halloween (I used a retired stamp set)...they were covered gum packs and some were tubes (Z1823) filled with jelly beans. I made a few using the stamp set (Polar Bear Holiday, C1557) for the winter holidays too. They came out adorable I thought.
