Need An Adorable Mother's Day Gift Idea? Or A Wedding Shower Gift Idea?

I thought today I would share a fun idea using the Chantilly paper pack. Close To My Heart used a picture frame to make this. You could put a picture in it and give it as a Mother's Day gift or hang it on your front door (maybe change the word Hello to Welcome). Another idea would be to give this as a wedding show gift (change the word Hello to the wedding date or the couple's last name). So many fun ideas!  

Ps. The bow is made with the new fabric (Chantilly Textiles Z1819). The flowers are made using the Chantilly paper (X7163B) and the Quilling Tool (Z1795). They also included the Chantilly Assortment (Z1814), Mini-Medley Accents (Z1837), Clear Sparkles (Z1752), and some stamping with Frame Flair D1546 & Happy Thoughts C1536. The letters you could use a stamp set, stickers or font from the Cricut.

Easter Bunny Card

I thought today I'd share the cute Easter card we made at the crop I went to over the weekend. My scrapbook buddy, Dawn Heuft, put together a kit. These cards are really easy to make if you have a Cricut machine...using the "Art Philosophy" collection (Z1686). The machine cut the oval shapes...we used Chantilly paper (X7163B). We stamped the oh, so, cute bunny (from the stamp set: "Hoppy Easter" B1423) and we added some Chantilly Textile (Z1819) fabric for the bow. I also used some markers to color in the stamp too. I love making cute, easy cards!

I thought today I would share a video that Close To My Heart put on youtube called "Project Inspirations: A Different Spin". The reason I thought I would share this video is because they show you how to use the new spinners (Z1832) and the matching stamp set ("Wheel Of Life" D1545) that are in the catalog. These would be great on your scrapbook layouts to add a little extra fun to them. I also thought if you are a teacher or daycare provider these would be great fun on a bulletin board (or used with the children). You could use them for work charts, or to teach numbers or colors. I thought today I'd share the cute little Hello Kitty bucket gift I made for a scrapbook buddy. She loves Hello Kitty and when I saw the bucket I knew I had to get it for her. I thought with Easter coming it would make a cute little gift. I put a little of the Easter grass on the bottom and added some candy. I also included a My Creations Tube (Z1823)...that I filled with jelly beans. On the tube I added a little Silver Shimmer Trim (I LOVE this stuff!) (Z1799) and a tag that I stamped (and colored in)...using the stamp set "Easter Wishes" (B1422). It was just a cute little gift to let my friend know I appreciate her.

Need A Few Simple Card Ideas?

Last night I made a few simple "Thank You" cards. I had a few other sellers (from other direct sales companies) send me some information about their company. I wanted to let them know I received their information and I appreciated the time they took to send it to me.

The one card I used the "Claire" paper pack (X7166B) and the other paper is from "Surf's Up" (X7168B). I also used a piece of chipboard and stamped it with a stamp that came with the Cricut "Artiste" collection (Z1790) on each of the cards. Nothing fancy...but these colors are really getting me into the Spring mood.

I thought today I would share a video that Close To My Heart put on youtube called "Love Your Layout: February 2013". The reason I thought I would share this video is because they show you how to do a really cute layout using my favorite paper pack, Later Sk8r. I thought you could make the layout using Studio J...or you could make it with paper if you don't want to do it on your computer. Are You Looking For A Little Boy's Room Decor Idea?

I thought today I would share a fun idea using the Later Sk8r paper pack. Close To My Heart used a picture frame in this picture...but I thought how much fun would it be if we used this idea on My Creations 6x6 Canvas Displays (Z1818). You could make a few different ones and add in the adorable stamp set that is in the Workshop On The Go kit (G1057) (a few of the stamps: "I Do My Own Stunts" or "Play Hard") and a few of the trucks or cars from the stamp set "Fast and Furious" (D1541). It would be adorable in a little boy's bedroom!

Looking For A St. Patrick's Day Card Idea?

I thought today I would share another card I made. It could be used for St. Patricks' Day if I wanted. To make the card I used a stamp set that was a special we had a while back...but I love the saying. I also used the "Surf's Up" (X7168B) paper pack, Green Bubbles (Z1806), our markers to add a little color, and a little Liquid Glass (Z679) to make the coins shine. It's plain and simple...but that's how I like my cards.

I thought I would share a video that Close To My Heart put on youtube called "Project Inspiration 2012 Autumn/Winter Idea Book: Space Party". They share some really cute space-themed party ideas using the stamp set "Outta This World" (C1523). And, if you buy the Cricut Collection "Artiste" (Z1790) you won't even have to hand cut most of the pieces out, because...the shapes are part of this collection...so they coordinate together beautifully. I love this set! It has robots and spaceships...what more could you ask for!? So, take a few minutes and enjoy the video!

Ps. This set would make adorable patterned paper too if you want to scrapbook a layout with robots or spaceship paper in the layout.

I thought today I would share another "Thank You" card I made for someone who put an order in. This time I used just a little bit of paper from the "Claire" paper pack (X7166B). I also used a new stamp set called "Cozy Cat" (A1140). And, I colored it in some with our markers. I picked this set because the person I am planning to give it to has a pet sitting business (and I already used the "A Bowwow" (A1126) a different time). I just love our animal stamp sets!
