Cute Post-it Note Gift For My Son's Teacher...She Is Appreciated!

I thought today I'd share a cute little gift I gave to my son's teacher. It was a little something to thank her for coming in one evening to school for their open house. I always like to thank the teachers and let them know that I appreciate them. It was a post-it note she could keep on her desk. I used Lollydoodle paper and white cardstock. The stamp set is from the Lollydoodle WOTG kit. I sponged the edges to make it not so white looking. It gives it just enough color I think. I just love to give little gifts to let others know they are important in my life...that they are appreciated.  

 

Happy Birthday Owl Card...Too Cute For Words!

I thought today I'd share a project that I made. It's a birthday card...which I couldn't share until I gave it to my cousin. I didn't want her to see it posted before she received it (it was with a Base & Bling necklace). I used Lollydoodle paper (X7183B), Sky cardstock (X5761), a piece of white cardstock and inked the edges with Sky ink. I used the black journaling pen (Z1979) to make the outline around the card. I stamped the Happy Birthday with the "Joyful Birthday" (B1419) stamp set. I love this stamp set. The owl is stamped from the adorable stamp set "Owls" (B1450). I colored in the owl with CTMH markers. I did want to add that I got the idea from another consultant (Candace Romano) for the card. It's just too cute to not make a few of these cards.

Skylark and Lollydoodle Cards!

I thought today I'd share three more cards I made. I used two different paper packs. On the first card I used Skylark (X7177B) and added Teal Shimmer Trim (Z1918) (my favorite...I love all CTMH's shimmer trim!). On the second card I used the WOTG Lollydoodle Cardmaking kit (G1080). I changed it just a little bit. And, on the last card I used Skylark and Lollydoodle (X7183B) paper. I love how the two paper packs go together nicely. I also used the stamp set "Love This" (B1432) and added a Pink Glitter Gem (Z1807) and some Shimmer Trim. I think they all came out cute...now to figure out who to give them to!

Easter Ideas...Baskets, Cards, and Decorations...Who Doesn't Love Bunnies?!

I thought today I'd share a few cute Easter ideas from the CTMH Art Department.

The first two pictures used the stamp set "Hoppy Easter" (B1423) and the last picture used a Hostess Reward stamp set "Some Bunny" (B1446). The only way to get Hostess stamps is to host a party (Wanna? Ask me how!). Lots of fun, cute ideas!

I thought today I'd share another project we put together at a CTMH team meeting I went to over the past weekend. They are the adorable Base & Bling pendants. My daughter saw the (I heart Nerds) sticker on the sheet (Z1974) and had told me she really wanted it...so when we started the project I knew exactly which one to use (it must have been karma because she told me about wanting this on a pendant the day before the meeting & I didn't know we were going to make these). She's going on a school trip next Spring and was looking for something to make for a fundraiser. I made two more since the meeting and thought I'd share them all today with you guys. They are super easy to put together and make fabulous gifts (Mother's Day and Teacher Appreciation Day are both coming up soon)! 

 

 

Ps. To make these you'll need to order the pendant (they come in square and circle shape / silver or gold color), the glass cover (make sure to order the same shape as the pendant), the sticker sheet (there are 4 different sheets to pick), Liquid Glass (Z679), and the necklace. The pendants and covers come in a pack of 3 and the necklaces come with only 1 (so you can change out the pendant if it's for yourself...but if they are going to be gifts you'll need to buy three of them). Check Out What CTMH's Embossing Folder Designs Look Like!

I thought today I'd share a project we put together at a CTMH team meeting I went to over the past weekend. They are tags to show off the new Embossing Folders. We now have 5 different ones: Dot (Z1924), Chevron (Z1925), Quatrefoil (Z1926), Damask (Z1927) and Stripe (Z1960). There are also a few tags to show what you can do with a bit of ink or sand paper (Z1294). One of the reasons I love CTMH's paper...it has white core so you can sand the paper and change the look of it. Pretty cool designs and I love that they are 5x7 if you want to do the front of a card (fits perfect on a standard size card). Fun, fun, fun!

Ps. The 2nd picture shows you how one folder can have a few different looks. Gives us a few options when we get crafty (without spending a ton of money)!

I Never Seem To Have Enough Thank You Cards! How About You?

I thought today I'd share a few "Thank You" cards I made for people who put orders in with me. I used Lollydoodle (X7183B) and Ivy Lane (X7178B) paper packs. The "Thank You" stamp set (M1029) and the stamp set from the WOTG Lollydoodle Cardmaking Kit (G1080). Also, the shimmer trim Silver (Z1799) and Purple (Z1919). (FYI~ If you get the WOTG kit it includes the lollydoodle paper and the silver shimmer trim.) I think the cards came out cute!
