Mini Album Gift ~ Graduation Gift For My Friend!

I thought today I'd share the mini album I made for a friend that just graduated from college. I covered the faces in the album (incase you are wondering about the little white pieces of paper). I used the paper pack "ProPlayer" (X7172B)...and a little bling (plus a few items I found in my stash...that was not CTMH). I think it came out cute!

Need A Few Card Ideas? Shared Happy Birthday and Thank You Cards

I thought today I'd share two cards I made at the crop I went to a few weekends back. Both cards were made from card kits that I bought from my upline Dawn Heuft. One was for my daughter for her birthday. Her favorite color is pink. I did change the card a little since I wanted it for a birthday card. The kit was for a Mother's Day card but the "Happy Birthday" stamp (B1419) wouldn't fit so I changed it a little and added some extra bling (Z1934). My daughter really liked the card.

The 2nd card is a "Thank You" card for the next person that purchases from my website. I took a picture from the side to show you how it sits up. Both cards were made with the paper pack "Ivy Lane" (X7178B). This paper pack is my favorite paper pack in the Spring/Summer 2014 catalog. I also used the chevron embossing folder (Z1925). Thank You Cards Using The Crayon Technique ~ Easy and Fun!

I thought today I'd share a few cards I made for customers who purchased CTMH products from my website. I used a new (to me) technique. On the top paper I random stamped and then used a white crayon to outline the flowers. Then I sponged on crystal blue (on the 1st card) and pacifica (on the 2nd card) ink.

Family Quilt

Our family is a patchwork,
with kindness gently sewn.
Each piece is an original,
with beauty all its own.

I thought I would share this poem because when I saw it I thought it would look great in a scrapbook layout made to look like a quilt. Hip Pics Mini Album ~ Teacher Appreciation Gift ~ Adorable!

I shared the post-it notes I made for my daughter's teachers (for Teacher Appreciation Week) the other day and said I'd post the mini album I made for my son's teacher. So here it is...I used the My Creations Hip Pics Album (Z1956). I used a few different paper packs: Lollydoodle (X7183B), Skylark (X7177B), Timberline (X7182B), and Balloon Ride (X7180B). I also used Flamingo Dots (Z1934), Silver Geometric Washi Tape (Z1932), Triangle Studs (Z1928), the Journaling Pen (Z1979), and the stamp sets "Love This" (B1432) / WOTG Lollydoodle Cardmaking Kit (G1080). I also used a sticker on the front cover (Dreamer Style Sheet Z1976) and one of the charms (Dreamer Z1955) from the Base & Bling line. I think it came out adorable! I hope she finds it as adorable as I do!

More Teacher Appreciation Gifts!

I thought today I'd share the gifts I made for all the teachers (this week is Teacher Appreciation Week at both my children's school). I made simple, but cute (I think) post-it notes for my daughter's teachers. She's in middle school so there are a lot of teachers (+ 1 student teacher we included). Since most of her teachers are guys she didn't want anything with too much bling. I kept it simple. The photo shows you what the front and back looks like. I used Skylark paper on the back (X7177B) and sweet leaf for the stamping.  

 

For my son, since he only has 1 teacher I made her a cute mini album using the Hip Pics Album (Z1956). Check back on Wednesday for the photos and information on the album. It came out adorable but there are too many photos / info. to post today.
