Quote Book ~ Quotes To Add To Your Book

I thought I would do the quotes today to add to your quote book...

~"Cleaning and scrubbing can wait til tomorrow, for children grow up, we've learned to our sorrow. So quiet down cobwebs, dust go to sleep. I'm rocking my baby and babies don't keep."

~"The mothers of boys work son-up to son-down."

~"A Mother's love must be strong, her work is hard, her day is long. But all in all, she is truly blessed, for there is nothing so warm as a crowded nest."

~"Fathers have a way of putting everything together."

~"Daddy: Some dads are gentle, some dads are kind; some dads are busy and some dads are fine; some dads are caring and some dads refined; some dads are workers, some recline...some dads are loved, and that dad is mine."

I thought I would share family type quotes today...just feeling like my kids are getting so big so fast. My son's birthday is soon and we are talking about a party. Anyway, remember to stop back again for more quotes next week...and I wanted to add...no idea who or where I got these quotes...I've been saving them for my pages. So enjoy the quotes and hope you have a great day!

Cute Candy Tree ~ A Timber Stamp Set With Sparkles

I have to tell you...I love the stamp set "A Timber" (A1110)...it's an amazing set...and for $7.95...you really can't go wrong...that's really a deal for this stamp set. I used it yesterday (see post 12/7) and I used it again today. Today's cute project I used a piece of retired paper from yesterday's kit...then I stamped the tree from "A Timber" stamp set using "New England Ivy" ink   (Z2135) and added some bling using Sparkles (a few from each assortment) Z1327 & Z1326. I think it came out adorable! Plus I am getting closer to having everyone on my list a nice, little gift to give them. Gotta love that! So, I'm hoping you've been busy too?! If not, and you need any help putting in an order for yourself or someone else let me know!

Gift Bags ~ A Timber Stamp Set With Sparkles

About a week and half ago I went to a Holiday Workshop that my upline, Dawn, and 2 of her friend's had...I posted about it and showed you the cute candy bag gift I made there. My mom was visiting then and not really a craft person...crazy, huh!?!...anyway, I took home a few of the projects figuring I would just have to find time and do them later. So, mom left yesterday, and today I did one of the really cute projects...again I didn't take a photo so I changed it up a little. Plus I didn't have the stamp set she used. The kit had the paper "Evensong" in it, which is retired, but we have other holiday type paper you can use. I used the stamp set "A Timber" (A1110), cranberry ink, and I added Red Sparkles (Z1326) to give it a little bling. I plan to put some chocolate or a big holiday cookie inside when it gets closer to giving the gifts out (I made two for my children to give to the librarian and food ladies at school). They are easy to make, and dress up whatever you want to hand out for the holidays!

I'll give you an idea...it's a nice, thoughtful gift...I used a 6X6 scrapbook album, retired paper, and retired stickers...it came together pretty easy...and I think the person who it is for will really like it! Vague enough for you?? Sorry, but it's all I have for you today...at least you can use the idea to make a little scrapbook for someone in your life!

Sherry's Fused Glass Pendants

I thought today would be a good day to share with you Sherry's fused glass pendants. She makes these amazing pendants...and I told her I would do a post for her...since she still has a bunch she wants to get sold. I know it doesn't have to do with scrapbooking or stamping but with the holidays coming up I thought they would make a great gift to buy...so I am sharing them with you. She's selling them for $15 and you'll need to contact her directly to see what she has (I have just a few pictures posted here.) So, I did my good deed for the day...now you do your good deed and buy some! :)  4boulters@cox.net

Wist List For The Holidays!

I thought today I would post about your "Wish List". You can use this form to make it easy...this way the list of items you would like will be all together. If you have someone that needs to buy you a gift but they aren't sure what to get...you can give me your wish list...email it to me with their email (who you would like to have your wish list) and I would be more than happy to help them with getting your gift bought! And if they aren't close to where I am we can do the order so it ships right to them! Don't wait or it won't make it in time for the holidays!
