Quote Book ~ Quotes To Add To Your Book

I thought I would do the quotes today to add to your quote book...

~"A hundred years from now, it will not matter what my bank account was, the sort of house I lived in, or the kind of car I drove but the world may be different because I was important in the life of a child."

~"Children are apt to live up to what you believe of them." (Lady Bird Johnson)

~"Children learn by doing, and play is their work."

~"Children will not remember you for the material things you provided but for the feeling that you cherished them."

~"In the eyes of a child...there is joy, there is laughter...there is hope, there is trust, a chance to shape the future." (Air Supply)

I thought I would share some "children" type quotes today. My children are on break from school this week and next week...and are home with me...so it had me thinking that quotes about children will be needed...since I plan to take some photos of them while we hang out! Anyway, don't forget to stop back again for more quotes next week...and I wanted to add...no idea who or where I got these quotes...I've been saving them for my pages. So enjoy the quotes!

Thank You Card ~ Using Sophia Paper and Thank You Stamp Set

Today I thought I would post a "thank you" card I made. I put it together using "Sophia" paper and the stamp set "Thank You" (D1361). The flowers I used are just cut out from the paper...then I put a little bling (called sparkles in the catalog) on them to dress up the card a little. It's not real fancy...and I couldn't get a really good photo...but wanted to post it before I mailed it out! I think it's always nice to add a little "thank you(s)" in to our days...I teach my daycare children (& my own) to say "Thank You" and I like to lead by example. So this is headed to Lori's house...hope she likes it!

Art & Soul Video ~ Crafting With Kids ~ Family Ties: Children, Adults, & Pets + Play Day ~ So Much Fun!

I thought I would share another Art & Soul video with you today. This one is an older one but has lots of fun ideas. The video is called "Crafting With Kids". Since it's an older video some of the products are no longer available...but you can still use the ideas. One of the items, a stamp set called "Family Ties Children" (C1345) is still available...along with a bunch of other sets...with other family members (C1346 & B1350). Plus another set that fits the theme "Play Day" (D1360) is also available. I think your children will love doing some of these projects! So...go grab a snack, sit back, and enjoy a few minutes of fun video time!!

Beary Busy Stamp Set ~ Using Magnifique Paper Pack ~ Dressing Up a 5x8 Note Pad!

I thought I would share this fun note pad (5x8 in size) with you today. You could use a larger size too. These are really easy to put together...and I love how they dress up the note pads. They would make great gifts for Mother's Day too! The paper I used is "Magnifique" (x7127B) and the stamp set is called "Beary Busy" (C1409). I love this paper pack and the stamp set is just too adorable! I stamped a few extras and my daycare children enjoyed coloring them in too! And, this stamp set would go great if your doing a gardening theme with your children. So, go check out these fun, cute bears!

Sweetheart Scrapbook Pages Using Level 1 Paper Pack With Stickers ~ Another 2 Pages Done!

I posted on 3/28 about using the "Sweetheart" level 1 paper pack (X7134A) and the stickers that match (X7134C). I did 4 pages...but only posted 2 of the pages at that time. I said I would post the other 2 pages at another time. Well, it's that time! I did put some small pieces of white paper to cover my daughter's face. I just don't feel ok showing her face (sorry). I thought it would be a good time to post these...since we have the "Lovin Level 1" special going on right now! I wanted to show you how easy these paper packs are to use...and how good the pages turn out using them! So, go buy a few and try them out for yourself!

Quote Book ~ Quotes To Add To Your Book

I thought I would do the quotes today to add to your quote book...

~"Birthdays are good for you. Statistics show that the people who have the most live the longest."

~"I'm at an age when my back goes out more than I do." (Phyllis Diller)

~"Age is an issue of mind over matter. If you don't mind, it doesn't matter." (Mark Twain)

~"Learn from the past, look forward to the future, live for the PRESENTS!"

~"And in the end, it's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years." (Abraham Lincoln)

I thought I would share some "birthday" type quotes today. My birthday is next week so it's on my mind. Maybe this year I'll have some photos taken of me...instead of me taking them. And I'm looking forward to some chocolate cake! Anyway, don't forget to stop back again for more quotes next week...and I wanted to add...no idea who or where I got these quotes...I've been saving them for my pages. So enjoy the quotes!
