~"Sisters make the good times better and the bad times easier."

~"A sister knows everything about you...and loves you anyway!"

~"A sister, a brother, share a bond like no other."

I thought I would share some "Sister" type quotes today. My son is home today sick and missing his sister while she's in school. It had me thinking about the bond my kids have and I thought I would share these quotes. Don't forget to stop back again for more quotes next week...and I wanted to add...no idea who or where I got these quotes...I've been saving them for my pages. So enjoy the quotes!

Creative Basics Wings Paper Collection Comes With Juniper Satin Loop Ribbon

I was pretty busy this weekend...meeting with our tax guy, and my daughter did a booth sale at the mall to sell Girl Scout cookies (only 2 more weeks of cookie selling!). Plus the usual household stuff that gets done during the weekend. So, that leads me to...no artwork to share. But I thought I would take the time to point out a great product we sell...especially if you like to make cards! You'll find it on page 114 in the catalog...it's called "Creative Basics Wings Collection" (X5812). I think it's a great deal...for $7.95 (+ tax & s/h)...you get 12 ~ 12"x12" B&T Duos (which is 6 each of 2 designs) and 4 yards of Juniper Satin Loop Ribbon. If you also buy "Cards and Envelopes" X1410...you'll get 50 of each to make a TON of cards to give out! And you could also add some stamping or embellishments to really dress the cards up! So, go check the collection out and let me know what you think!

Quote Book ~ Quotes To Add To Your Book

I thought I would do the quotes today to add to your quote book...

~"A son may outgrow your lap, but he will never outgrow your heart."

~"No earthly joys could bring more pleasure than a little boy to love and treasure."

~"You are the "sonshine" of my life!"

~"Boys are G-d's way of telling you that your house is too neat!"

~"Rub-a-dub-dub...there's a boy in the tub...splashing and shouting with glee. He's scrubbed and he's rubbed and he's played in the tub, and now he's as clean as can be!"

I thought I would share some "Son" type quotes today. Since we just had a Cosmic Bowling party for my son (for his 6th birthday) he is on my mind. I can't believe how big he is getting! My baby is all gone...and it makes me sad and happy at the same time...if that is even possible. So I thought I would share these quotes. Don't forget to stop back again for more quotes next week...and I wanted to add...no idea who or where I got these quotes...I've been saving them for my pages. So enjoy the quotes!

Corner Bookmarks ~ Wings Paper, Dreams Come True Stamp Set & Pearl Gems

I wanted to share another one of the swaps I was in using Close To My Heart products from the new catalog. These are corner bookmarks. I think they came out nice...not too fancy...so they'll get used for everyday reading. (which I try to do everyday!) I used paper from the "Wings" paper pack. I also used the stamp set "Dreams Come True" (D1470) (which I think is a really pretty set...love the flowers!). And, I wanted to add just a little something extra...so I added 3 pearl colored "Opaques Adhesive Gems" (Z1336). I think the gems gave it that finished look. So now I'm looking forward to using these fun bookmarks (instead of just a ripped piece of paper)! If you like to read...you should make some of these too!

Matchbook Filled With Gum ~ Sophia Paper Pack and Bunny Love Stamp Set!

I wanted to share one of the swaps I was in using Close To My Heart products from the new catalog. I think they came out really cute! They are big-size matchbooks...but have a pack of gum on the inside. The brads hold the gum pack in place. I used paper from the paper pack "Sophia". And I used the stamp set "Bunny Love" (B1324), which is one of my favorite sets. I figured these can be used for Valentine's Day or for Easter. They are just so "Spring" like...which I thought everyone could use a little of that feeling right about now!
