I thought I would share a photo to give you a great idea for a gift using the "Dakota" paper pack. I have done this a few times in the past with other paper packs. You just do a one page layout and buy a 12 x 12 frame. It is an easy way to give a more personal gift that you know they'll love and use. Or if there is a special moment that you would like to see everyday...do this and hang it on your wall!

Quote Book ~ Quotes To Add To Your Book ~ Boy Sayings
I thought I would do the quotes (not sure if these are quotes or sayings...but they are cute) today to add to your quote book...
~"A boy and his toys."
~"Crazy for cars."
~"This is what handsome looks like."
~"Built boy tough."
~"A little man, with a big plan."
I thought I would share some "Boy" type quotes / sayings today. I have a daycare boy who I've for almost 2 years (he started when he was 3 1/2 months old) who is moving on and I want to put together a mini album for him...so I thought these sayings would be nice with some pictures. Anyway, don't forget to stop back again for more quotes next week...and I wanted to add...no idea who or where I got these quotes...I've been saving them to use for my scrapbook pages / cards. So enjoy the quotes!

Want To See Some Masculine Thank You Cards? I Used The Dakota Paper Pack To Make Them!
I thought today I would share 3 cards that I made...Dawn Heuft, my scrapbook buddy and super amazing upline, made a cute card kit. The kit came with 3 different cards to make. I wasn't able to stay for the crop but bought the kit. Then I changed it...not because I didn't like her cards...I needed them for "Thank You" cards and didn't have the stamp set she used to make the cards...and one of the cards she made was to hold a gift card. Hopefully Dawn won't get mad I changed them up some.
These cards are for my children's teachers. Thursday is Back To School Night and I really appreciate that the teachers stay during the evening to meet with us. The cards are made using "Dakota" paper pack...I wanted the cards to be masculine since 2 of the 3 teachers are male. I think they came out cute...what do you think?

Dakota ~ Paper Pack ~ Workshop On The Go Kit ~ So Many Themes...So Little Time!
I thought I would share the paper pack "Dakota" with you today. You can buy the Workshop On The Go (G1047). It comes with: "Dakota" paper pack, a special stamp set (can only get this set if you buy the wotg kit), Black Hemp, Durables Round Studs, & an Instructional Brochure (directions to make some scrapbook layouts).
If your not really into stamping you can buy the paper pack (X7157B) and Dakota Complements Foil Images (X7157C) and make your own designs up. Or, try out the new "Make It From The Heart" how-to publication (9035) to get ideas.
And, if you are into stamping...we have 2 sets that go great with this paper..."Paisley Flair" (C1508) and "Rugged Dude" (B1405).
So, no matter which way you want to go...you're going to want to order this paper...I think it's a great paper pack...you can use it for some many different themes. This is the first year (since my daughter had Kindy) that we have male teachers. I am planning on making "Thank You" cards since we have Back-To-School night coming up and I really appreciate that they work all day...and then come back and work all evening...then show up the next morning to teach the kids. I figure, the least I could do is make them a card.

~"Rub-A-Dub-Dub little guy in the tub."
~"Hey rubber-ducky, your the one. You make bath time lots of fun." (Sesame Street)
~"Soap Star."
I thought I would share some "Bath Time" type quotes today. I have a bunch of baby bath time photos that I will be scrapbooking and thought I'd get quotes ready for when I do those layouts. Anyway, don't forget to stop back again for more quotes next week...and I wanted to add...no idea who or where I got these quotes...I've been saving them to use for my scrapbook pages / cards. So enjoy the quotes!

Do You Like To Make Homemade Gifts For The Holidays? Here's An Idea!
I thought today I would share with you one of the fun Workshop On The Go kits...It's the Scroll Album Kit (G1042). I posted about it before the catalog came out but thought now would be a good time to show it to you again. (If you want to see the video I posted you can go HERE!) It's a little different then the usual WOTG kits...It's an album...but it's not. I think it would make a great holiday gift. I am thinking that now is the right time to buy it...it will give you enough time to put it together to give to a family member or friend. Or maybe you could pick pictures of your children over the last year...and make a special album for the grandparents. It's just different enough that I think giving it to someone you love as a gift would make this a special gift. And, as a bonus...if you add $5.00 more to your order...you will be buying yourself the double stamp set special "It's Your Day". So, you buy a gift for a family member or friend and get a gift for yourself too. Nice!

Did You Know There Is A New How-To Publication Waiting For You?
I thought today I would share with you a new product that came out in the Autumn / Winter 2012 catalog. I think you're really going to enjoy it! It's called "Make It From Your Heart, Volume 1". It is a softbound how-to publication...featuring 16 two-page layout patterns, 2 single-page patterns, and 12 different card patterns. Since it's softbound it's lightweight...which is great if you want to take it when you go to a crop...or even if you want to carry it while you're out and about (and might have some waiting to do) to check it out. I love taking a book to look at if I know I have someplace to go that I'll have to wait. It's just another way I can fit in scrapbook time...putting together layouts...in my head...so when I do have time to pull my supplies out...I'm ready to rock. So, check it out and let me know what you think.
Ps. The next picture shows you one of the layouts you'll find in the book. Super cute huh?!
