Quote Book ~ A Poem To Add To Your Book ~ So Lucky

I usually do the quotes today to add to your quote book...but I decided today to do a poem.

I'm So Lucky To Have You

You are colorful like the rainbow,
You are bright like the sun,
You are sweet like chocolate and candy,
You're so good to each and everyone.
I'm so lucky to have you as my son.
Happy Birthday!

I thought I would share this poem today since my son's birthday is coming up and we are going to have a big party on Saturday. I know I'll have lots of photos to scrapbook at some point.    Anyway, don't forget to stop back again for more quotes next week. Hope you enjoyed the poem!  (Ps. I found this poem at wishafriend.com)

Video ~ Clearly The Best: Embossed Resist Stamping ~ Want Some Embossing Card Ideas? Watch This Video!

I thought I would share this video that Close To My Heart put on youtube called "Clearly The Best: Embossed Resist Stamping". I was just talking about embossing on my facebook fan page the other day...so when I saw this video I thought it would be perfect to share. In the video they share some embossing stamping techniques...and show you some great card ideas! So, take a few minutes and enjoy the video!

Look At This Cute Little Stamp Set...Would You Like One?

Since we have a new catalog coming out in a few days we will also have a new Petite Perks stamp set coming out too (sneak peek!). These are little stamp sets that only a consultant can buy...I buy some each catalog to give as gifts. If you would like a set...put an order in on my website starting February 1st and I'll give you one as a gift (while supplies last)!

Quote Book ~ Quotes To Add To Your Book ~ Dessert

I thought I would do the quotes today to add to your quote book...

~"Unless your name ends in Baskin or Robbins, I really can't fit you into my schedule right now."

~"Life is uncertain. Eat dessert first."

~"Stressed spelled backwards is desserts. Coincidence? I think not!"

~"Once in a young lifetime one should be allowed to have as much sweetness as one can possibly want and hold."

~"Happiness is life served up with a scoop of acceptance, a topping of tolerance and sprinkles of hope, although chocolate sprinkles also work."

I thought I would share some "Dessert" type quotes today. Anyone who knows me...knows I love chocolate and dessert...so I have lots of photos of my family making (and eating) desserts. Gotta have some quotes to go with the photos. Anyway, don't forget to stop back again for more quotes next week. Enjoy the quotes!

One Paper Pack...So Many Different Layouts!

I thought today I would share another pretty scrapbook layout using the Clementine paper pack. I always find it so interesting how one paper pack can make so many different looking layouts.

I also thought I'd let you know that this is one of the 4 paper packs in the current catalog that will be available in the new catalog that is coming out February 1st! But the Workshop On The Go kit for this paper won't be available after January 31st. So, if you like the stamp that goes with the WOTG kit you'll want to order the kit in the next few days.

Video ~ Clearly The Best: Behind the Scenes ~ Looking For Some Basic Stamping Techniques? Look Here!

I thought I would share a video that Close To My Heart put on youtube called "Clearly The Best: Behind the Scenes". They share some basic stamping techniques (and great ideas!) that will help you change your artwork with very little extra work. So, take a few minutes and enjoy the video!

Clementine ~ Workshop On The Go ~ Scrapbooking Kit

I thought I would share the paper pack "Clementine" with you today. You can buy the Workshop On The Go (G1046). It comes with: "Clementine" paper pack, a special stamp set (can only get this set if you buy the wotg kit), Cottage Assortment & an Instructional Brochure (directions to make some scrapbook layouts).

If your not really into stamping you can buy the paper pack (X7156B) and Clementine Complements Canvas Shapes (X7156C) and make your own designs up. Or, try out the new "Make It From The Heart" how-to publication (9035) to get ideas.

And, if you are into stamping...we have 2 sets that go great with this paper..."Casual Expressions" (D1525) and "Buttons, Bits, and Bobs" (B1408).

No matter which way you want to go...you're going to want to order this paper. So, check it out and get to work!

Look How Pretty This Flower Stamp Is!

I thought today I would share another card I made at the crop I went to last weekend. We used the Stamp Of The Month for January. You still have a little time to get an order in if you want this stamp set! I used the card to send a gift certificate (check out my post from the other day on my Facebook Fan Page...I posted about giving away a few gift certificates). I think the card is simple but pretty.

Quote Book ~ A Poem To Add To Your Book ~ A Birthday Wish

I usually do the quotes today to add to your quote book...but I decided to do a poem instead.

A Birthday Wish

Your birthday is the perfect time
to wish you nothing less
than favorite memories, plans and dreams
that bring you happiness,
for birthdays are a link between
the future and the past,
reminding us to treasure most
those special joys that last

I thought I would share a "birthday" poem today since my son's birthday is in a few weeks and I will need to scrapbook the photos at some point. This way I'll be ready. Anyway, don't forget to stop back again for more quotes next week.  Hope you enjoy the poem!
