Need A Cute Holiday Gift Idea?

I thought I'd share a cute idea using the Designed Décor Colonial White Frame (Z1865), Mini Clothes Pins (Z1815), the Sarita paper pack (X7171B) and Sarita Textiles (Z1885) to make the bow that is in the picture. The Close To My Heart art department made a cute "bucket list" but you could do just about any list (menu planning, birth date reminders, cute sayings your child(ren) say...the list is long but this gives you a few ideas)! It would make a nice holiday gift if you're looking for ideas too.

Holiday Card Workshop ~ Don't Need To Be Local!

I thought today I'd share the cards I made. They are the sample cards for a workshop I am planning next month. If you are in San Diego and want to sign up for the workshop...we are going to make 6 cards. The cost of the workshop is $15.00. Contact me for the dates I have open.

If you are not local and want to make them I can ship them to you pre-cut / pre-stamped for $20.00. Or, if you think you would like to make more than 6 cards (or like to stamp them yourself) I can give you a list of the products I used...you can order them from my website and I'll send you an email with the cutting sizes for the cards (no charge with order from my site). I think the cards came out adorable!

Quote Book ~ A Poem To Add To Your Book ~ Halloween

Today I'm sharing a poem for our "Quote Books".

Halloween
It's Halloween! It's Halloween!
The moon is full and bright
And we shall see what can't be seen
On any other night.
Skeletons and ghosts and ghouls,
Grinning goblins fighting duels,
Werewolves rising from their tombs,
Witches on their magic brooms.
In masks and gown we haunt the street
And knock on doors for trick or treat.
Tonight we are the king and queen,
For oh tonight it's Halloween!

Wishing you an evening full of moonlight and magic!

I thought I would share this poem today since we are close to Halloween and I'll have lots of pictures I'll need to scrapbook. Anyway, don't forget to stop back again for more quotes or poems next week. Hope you enjoy this poem!  (Ps. I found this poem at scrapbook.com)

Cute Candy Gift Ideas ~ For Halloween and Winter Time Fun! Great For Stocking Stuffers!

I thought today I'd share a few more items I made for the craft event I was at on Saturday. I made these cute candy gifts. Some were for Halloween (I used a retired stamp set)...they were covered gum packs and some were tubes (Z1823) filled with jelly beans. I made a few using the stamp set (Polar Bear Holiday, C1557) for the winter holidays too. They came out adorable I thought.

I Am In LOVE ~ Season's Tweetings Gift Bag Kit!!

I thought today I'd share a few more items I made for the craft event I'll be at on October 19th. I made these cute gift bags with tags (and filled the bags with peppermint candy). These are from an adorable kit (Season's Tweetings Gift Bag Kit, Z1913) that you can buy from the mini catalog. You receive 6 bags, 9 tags, and an super, duper cute stamp set! All of that for just $14.95!

This stamp set can also be used to make holiday cards too...they would be easy to put together. If you would like to do a workshop let me know and we can get it on the schedule!

The first picture shows the kit before I got started with it. The 2nd picture shows you a few bags and the tags (I had to go to the store to get more candy to finish filling the rest of the bags). Adorable is the word that keeps coming to my mind...what do you think?

Ps. Reminder: If you're in the San Diego area and want to stop in to say hi and see these items in person...please stop over! I'll be at Santee Christian Church, 8410 Fanita Dr. ~ 9am - 3pm.

Quote Book ~ A Poem To Add To Your Book ~ A Zoo

Today I'm sharing a poem for our "Quote Books".

 A Zoo

The polar bears
so white and strong...
The spot neck giraffe
with a stance so long...
Monkey that swing
by their tails in trees...
The big grey elephant
with the wrinkled knees...
Let's take pictures
of one or two,
Oh, please,
let's go to the Zoo.

I thought I would share this poem today since I was at the Zoo yesterday with my family. We even got to see a Polar Bear up close. Anyway, don't forget to stop back again for more quotes or poems next week. Hope you enjoy this poem!  (Ps. I found this poem at scrapbook.com)
