I thought I would share a video that Close To My Heart put on youtube to introduce you to Studio J. If you haven't seen this yet...it is cute. I haven't tried Studio J yet, but know a few other consultants who have and LOVE it! They said it is super easy to use, saves your artwork until your ready to have it printed, and best of all...you can make multiple copies if you want to put together albums as gifts for different people. So, check out the video and then go to my website and check Studio J out!

Teacher Appreciation Gift For My Son's Kindy Teacher

I was able to get one of the gifts done for Teacher Appreciation week. Some other things in life came up and I just couldn't get them all done. So, one down and one to go. This one I am going to share still needs my son to draw some artwork on the tags and write his name on the 1st tag...with the cute poem on it (top left corner tag). I used the "True Fit Folio" (X1404) to make the album. (I already posted a video showing you how to make these cute albums.) I also used the "Mayberry" paper. I think it came out cute and there are lots of spots that the teacher can add photos of the class to remember everyone if she wants. Hopefully she'll like it!

Working On The Teacher Appreciation Gifts For My Children's Teachers

I wanted to let you know if your checking in to see the items for Teacher Appreciation week...well, I started them...but they aren't anywhere near ready. I still haven't been feeling well...and now my daughter is sick. So, they will get done...hopefully tomorrow...and I will post them on Friday. Cardstock Used For Cute Mother's Day Gifts

We had a party over the weekend for my daughter and I took her clothes shopping too...so I didn't really have time to do any artwork. So today I thought I would share what we did in daycare for Mother's Day. We used CTMH cardstock...see even the children in your life can make beautiful gifts with CTMH's products! I think for Father's Day we'll make something to match.

Hope For Japan Fundraiser ~ Thank You To All Who Helped!

I haven't been feeling well this week so I have no artwork to show. But I will be working on making a few gifts for next week...for Teacher Appreciation week...so as soon as I have something done I will post it. But I did want to share with you...that the fundraiser CTMH just had for Japan...the "Hope For Japan" stamp set...all the profits went to the Red Cross to help...well, it sure did help. Close To My Heart was able to donate more than $80,000 to the fund. Pretty impressive when the item was only $5.00. So, I thought I would share this information and thank everyone who bought a set!

I thought I would share another Art & Soul video with you today. This one is an older one but has lots of great ideas. Also, you're going to want to buy the "Finishing Files" (Z1091). I really think they make the item your working on look...well...finished. (couldn't resist! lol!) It will really add something to your scrapbook page / cards! Raffle Basket ~ Using Some Really Cute Stamp Sets On The Tag! Give-Away...Check 4/29's Post!

I thought I would share a photo of the basket I gave to the SDCFCCA (the daycare assoc. in my area) for a big raffle that they had at the end of the day at the Assoc. Conference I went to last weekend. The keynote speaker did some fun stuff with felt and lots of singing...there were 3 other classes I went to...and got to network / hang out with some friends I haven't seen in awhile (+ meet some new providers too). On the tag I made for the basket, I used the new stamp set (that is in the May's special kit that you can get...only in May...so don't wait...because it is just TOO CUTE!). I also used the stamp set "Boys At Play" (C1386). I plan to use this set alot when I get some of my son's pages done. (It's a great set if your a daycare provider too, if you make a scrapbook to show to families that are checking out your daycare...this would make it look so cute!). Also, I had a flyer that was given out in the folders that everyone got...so, if you haven't seen the post on April 29 you'll want to check it out! Cute T-Shirts I Got At The Expo

I had a very busy weekend...I went to the Scrapbook Expo, an all-day Daycare Assoc. Conference, got haircuts for the whole family, did some housework, and  household shopping too! It was very busy and lots of fun. What I didn't get to do...was make any artwork for my blog. So, I thought I would take a photo of the cute t-shirts I bought at the Expo (I also bought some other stuff too...but nothing else as cute to share). And, I have to add that my 6 year old son (who is in Kindy and learning to read) thought it was great that he could just about read the whole saying on the blue t-shirt. Gotta love it! He was so excited...it was just too cute! Well, hope you think the t-shirts are as cute as my son thinks!
