Check Out These Halloween Coloring Books!
Today I'm going to share with you the fun gifts my son (who is in 1st grade) made. They came out cute! Last year we made coloring books for his Kindy class...I guess they must have been a big hit because he wanted to do the same thing but with different monster stamps. He did a bunch of the work to put these together too. He also decided to make some cute little gifts for the women who work in the front office at school...and 1 for his teacher, and he didn't want to forget the Principle of the school! For the Principle he wrote him a special note too! (Talk about cute!) He used 2 different stamp sets..."Beware" (which is retired) and "Party Animal" (D1437). This is the same set my daughter used for her monsters...see post from Monday 10/24...they both picked out different monsters to use, which makes their gifts look totally different. So, check these Halloween gifts out and let me know what you think?! (Ps. I only showed 1 photo of the front office/teacher gifts since the 3 of them were the same. And the 1st photo only shows 2 done but he made 32 bags...under the stamp with the bat my son signed his name for all the gifts for his classmates too.)

Tutorial ~ Holly's Story ~ What Is So Great About Close To My Heart? Watch This Video To Find Out!!
I thought I would share the tutorial that Close To My Heart put on youtube to share with you Holly's Story. There is only a few days left to sign up if you are thinking about it. So, check out this video, and if after watching it you have any questions let me know. Also, check back here tomorrow to see the cute items my son made!
Ps. Since this video was made CTMH now only has 2 catalogs a year but they are bigger and better then ever!

Check Out The Super Cute Halloween Gift Bags My Daughter Made!
Over the weekend we worked on my children's classmate / friends gifts for Halloween. Today I am going to show you what my daughter made. She did almost all of the work by herself. She decided that she no longer wanted to make something for each of her classmates (she's in 5th grade) but did want something for a few close friends and 2 teachers. I think she did a great job!
She used "White Daisy" paper (1385) (FYI the price is $9.50 for the pack ~it's not correct in the catalog) and two different stamp sets ("Merry Monsters" for the saying which is now retired) and "Party Animal" (D1437). She also used all different color markers to color them in. I just love our markers...they match perfectly to our stamp pads and paper! I think her little gift bags (with ghost marshmellos) came out super cute! Check back on Wednesday to see what my first grader made!

Quote Book ~ Quotes To Add To Your Book
I thought I would do the quotes today to add to your quote book...
~"The amount of sleep required by the average person is...five minutes more!"
~"If people were meant to pop out of bed, we'd all sleep in toasters."
~"With a butterfly kiss and a ladybug hug, sleep tight little one."
~"People who say they sleep like a baby usually don't have one."
~"Good Night! Don't let the Bed Bugs bite! If they do, hit'em with a shoe and watch'em turn black & blue!"
I thought I would share some "Bedtime" type quotes today. My husband had to get up super early today for work. I woke up with him and had a hard time falling back to sleep. So, I am tired and thought bedtime quotes were needed. :) Anyway, don't forget to stop back again for more quotes next week...and I wanted to add...no idea who or where I got these quotes...I've been saving them to use for my scrapbook pages / cards. So enjoy the quotes!

I Just May Have Figured Out How To Get My Photos Scrapbooked Faster!
Today I thought I would show you one of the two page layouts I did at the end of September using Studio J. I posted about it on the 30th...look HERE if you didn't read that post already. I really didn't think I would like using design software for scrapbooking...but after doing a few pages (getting them in my hands!) and hearing from CTMH at Leadershare Day what they were thinking when they put Studio J together...I have to say...I just may end up using it more. If I understood what they told us on Saturday...they didn't make Studio J to replace the more traditional scrapbooking...it's more like an add-on to it. Basically, we don't get to do the "back-burner" type photos and with Studio J we can fit in enough time to get those types of photos done, and still have time to do the more traditional scrapbooking of the more important events each year. With using Studio J we can get each year of photos done and not fall behind. (These are my words...they, of course, said it better.) But, this gives you a point to start with. I say, go HERE ...read the FAQ area and then try it out! You can try it out and you're not required to buy anything and you don't have to download anything either (which I love about Studio J!). So, unless you decide after checking it out and playing with it you want to buy some pages you're not out money. But, I am going say...once you play with it...it might be hard to not buy a membership! Ps. I took a photo to share but covered my son's face (don't like to put my children's face on the internet.)

Notebook For Auction ~ Operation Smile
Today I thought I would share the notebook I made over the weekend. I was able to take a photo of it yesterday...well, I made the cover...I bought the actual notebook from Walmart...just so we are clear. :) I used the last of my Dreamin' paper (X7142B). I really need to buy another pack. I just love this paper pack! I also used a few stickers from the Dreamin' My Stickease Assortment (X7142C). The stamp I used on the front cover is from "10 Things" (C1474). I am going to give it to CTMH at Leadershare Day for the auction to help raise money for Operation Smile.
