Florentine Paper Pack ~ 2 More Cute Baby Layouts Done!

I thought I would share today the other two "Florentine" pages I just finished. It took a bit of time but they are finally done. I used the Florentine paper pack (X7153B) and the Florentine My Stickease Assortment (X7153C). The photos on the left side are from the day my amazing little guy came home from the hospital...and on the other page is his 2 month well baby check-up at the doctor's office. I normally cover up all the photos on my layouts but since my son is 7 now I think it's ok to show them. I did cover up the doctor and nurse's faces since I'm not sure how they would feel having their photos on my blog and also the journaling part since that is more private. But there is enough showing to give you an idea of how cute this layout is!

Mother's Day Gifts From My Daycare Babies For Their Mothers ~ Cute and Simple...Like My Daycare Babies!

I thought today I would share with you the Mother's Day gifts I put together with my daycare babies. They had a small hand it too. :) It's not easy to make something that they can be a part of...since one is 7 months and the other is 22 months. I used some of my retired CTMH paper and Lakeshore ink (so it would wash off super easy). I covered up their names at the bottom of the frame (incase you're wondering about what is going on with the piece of paper). Anyway, they came out cute and we will do something to match on Father's Day. 

Quote Book ~ A Poem To Add To Your Book ~ Hints Of Spring

I usually do the quotes today to add to your quote book...but I decided today to do a poem.

Hints of Spring

First day of spring, not soon enough for me
Sweet scent of freshness, could make one's soul sing
The barren trees shine in many of bloom
As patches of green grass, begin to renew
Our small feathered friends, arrive with sweet song
Building nests for the wee ones, coming along
Bluish-gray skies, spread far and wide
As gentle winds whisper, of on-coming showers
A hint of sunshine, warmed the air
As lingering clouds about, filled the skies above
Spring is sometimes tricky, as most of us know
One day is warm, another one it's cold
Even some snow, can find a way in
But leaves in a hurry, as a warm-up sets in
Spring showers comes along, too many for some
But Mother Nature will change, this season in time
The farmers fields will come alive
And gardens and flowerbeds, will begin to color and thrive
New birth, new life
A welcoming change, these hints of spring.

Look How Hard My Daughter's Girl Scout Group Worked!!

If you've read past posts then you might know that my daughter is working on her Girl Scouts Bronze Award. This past week's meeting the Jr. girls (and my son) worked on making pages to go into 6x6 albums to be given to a local dog rescue. The girls aren't done yet but thought today I would show you how hard they worked on the pages this week. I think the pages all came out great so far! The group had a great time and it was even an intro to scrapbooking for some. So, what do you think?

Mother's Love

The magic of a mother’s love

I thought I would share the poem today since Mother's Day is around the corner. I may use this poem as part of the daycare gifts we will be making.
