Today I'm sharing a poem for our "Quote Books".


Lost Tooth

Today was the day
MY TOOTH finally fell out.
I wanted to jump
and laugh and shout.

Now, I can do the things
other kids do...
show off the hole
and let Jello SQUISH through.

My mom grabbed the camera
and started to cry
(It's bound to grow back
so I'm not sure why)

The best part of all is much later tonight
I'll hop into bed and turn off the light
Then, after I close my sleepy eyes,
the tooth fairy will come
and leave a SURPRISE!

 

 

 

I thought I would share this poem today because my son has lost 3 teeth in the last week or so. Another Fun Idea Using Laughing Lola Paper!

I thought I'd share a cute idea using the Laughing Lola paper pack (X7170B). I love how the CTMH art department made pattern paper using the gold cardstock and the stamp set "Paisley Perfect" (C1556).

 

This project would be fun to make with your teenager. It could have just their picture...or them with a whole group of friends. It would go together pretty easy and would look great hanging up somewhere in your home. What a fun project to do together!

 Believe in yourself -
in the power you have
to control your own life, day by day,
Believe in the strength
that you have deep inside,
and your faith will help
show you the way.
Believe in tomorrow
and what it will bring -
let a hopeful heart carry you through,

if you trust and believe

to what you can do.
