Welcome Sign ~ CTMH's Zoe Paper Pack With Shimmer Trim

I thought today I'd share another one of the projects I've been working on using the "Zoe" paper pack. I wanted to change the header on my Facebook business page. I like having a "Welcome" sign there...so when you come to my page it is the 1st thing you see. The one I had I loved (I love the color combo of pink / grey / black) but it was retired paper (from a while back) and I thought it was time to make a new sign with new CTMH paper. Change is good (at least sometimes). I used the Zoe paper pack (X7197B) with the coral shimmer trim (Z3088). I cut the letters using my Artiste Cricut cartridge (Z3170). I sponged (Z697) the letters with black ink (Z2105) and then outlined them with a black pen (Z1979). I like how it turned out...it's not fancy, but I like the clean, simple look. What do you think?

Cricut Tips, Tricks, and Cartridge Shapes ~ For The Artiste and Art Philosophy!

I thought I would share a link that's on my website...that you might not know about. It has (near the bottom) links to Cricut machine tips and tricks and also shapes that are on the "Artiste" (Z1790) and "Art Philosophy" (Z1686). If you are thinking of ordering either cartridge collection...you'll be able to see all the shapes on each of them. Click HERE to check it out!

Ps. Close To My Heart is bringing another collection out in the new catalog (available August 1st!)...so check out my website on that day to see that cartridge, "Artbooking" too!

Video ~ Stamps and Dimensional Elements from the Cricut® Artiste Collection ~ Cute Card Ideas!

I thought today I would share a video that Close To My Heart put on youtube called "Stamps and Dimensional Elements from the Cricut® Artiste Collection". The reason I thought I would share this video is because CTMH shows you some cute card ideas using the stamp sets that come with the Cricut "Artiste". I always forget about these stamp sets and the DE that came with my cartridge. I thought we could all use some card ideas to move us to use them (if you didn't buy this cartridge yet...you need to! Click HERE to order it!) So, take a few minutes and check out the video!
