Quote Book ~ Quotes To Add To Your Book

I thought I would do the quotes today to add to your quote book...

~"Smarter than the average bear." (Jungle Book)

~"A dream is a wish your heart makes." (Cinderella)

~"Friends can be new, friends can be old, all of them are as precious as gold." (Pooh)

~"Isn't Disneyland just a people trap operated by a mouse?"    **had to add...thought it was funny**

~"All of our dreams can come true- if we have the courage to pursue them." (Walt Disney)

~"A laugh can be a very powerful thing. Why, sometimes in life, it's the only weapon we have!" (Roger Rabbit)

I thought I would share some "Disney" type quotes today. I thought with the big Close To My Heart convention just at Disney these type of quotes kind-of fit the mood. Anyway, don't forget to stop back again for more quotes next week...and I wanted to add...no idea who or where I got these quotes...I've been saving them to use for my scrapbook pages / cards. So enjoy the quotes!

You can also get a peek at the August Stamp Of The Month too! It is adorable...I just love Halloween! The 2nd special is called "Pair-A Phrase". This one starts August 15th until Sept. 30th. It's for National Stamping Month. (CTMH is giving us a head start on that month's fun!) With this special you'll get 2 D size stamp sets. They are even more adorable than the other special. Tutorial ~ Scallop Borders With Mayberry WOTG Stamp Set ~ Cute!

I thought I would share the tutorial that Close To My Heart put on youtube to show how to use the "2" Scallop Circle Punch". (Z1392) and the Mayberry Workshop On The Go (WOTG). After you watch this video you are going to want to buy this punch and the WOTG. I do want to let you know that at the end of the month the "Mayberry" WOTG will no longer be available. The Level 2 paper will be but you won't be able to get the WOTG. So, check out the video and then go to my website and buy yourself this Workshop On The Go and the scallop punch too!

Sneak Peek ~~ NEW Catalog Coming Your Way ~~ Available Starting 8/1/11 ~~ Check Out My Website On August 1st!!

I went to a crop on Saturday with Dawn and some other friends. I was able to get 4 scrapbook pages done and will post them as soon as I have time. I also worked...for hours (this was the last day of doing that...took me 4 days total)...on Sunday to get my photos all organized in boxes. It doesn't include photos before the kids were born or all the photos I have on disks or in my computer. Those will have to be another time once I have more money to get them all printed. I figured I now have 3 photo boxes full...and organized. I am a happy girl! It will make scrapbooking them much easier and faster...which I am all about that! Next I need to get the rest of my stuff more organized...anyone have any good ideas they would like to share?

****I also thought I share another "Sneak Peek"...when the new catalog starts (goes "live" August 1st!) the Stamp Of The Month changes...Close To My Heart will still have them...and the specific stamp set for each month will still only be available during that month...but it will be priced different. I like it better this way too...no more having to figure out the amount due or making sure to have the right code...one code and only 2 ways to get it: (1) full price $17.95 or (2) you spend $50.00 and it's only $5.00! So much easier...and wait until you see the Stamp Of The Month sets coming up...you're going to LOVE them!

I just wanted to remind everyone that we are almost at the end of the month...incase you want to buy the Stamp Of The Month (American Celebration ~ D1458). Also, "Bang For Your Buck" is only until the end of the month too...so when July goes so does these deals! You don't want to forget!

When August 1st comes we have lots of new and fun products but you may not be able to get some of the fabulous products from our Spring/Summer 2011 catalog! I can tell you that only 4 of the paper packs will be available after the end of July...Lucky, Sophia, Mayberry, and Fanfare...all the others will be retired! If you have any questions email me...otherwise, go to my website and make yourself happy...buy lots of fun stuff now!

Sharing A "Sneak Peek" ~~ From The New Catalog ~~Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge!

Today I am sharing a "Sneak Peek" with you! The NEW catalog comes out on August 1st! If you have a Cricut machine you are going to LOVE this! I figured it would be easier if I shared this video that Close To My Heart put on youtube called "Art Philosophy Cricut Collection". You can order it from my website on August 1st! All you have to do is plug the cartridge into your Cricut machine and you are ready to cut 700 shapes (you read that right! it says 700) with the touch of a button ~ you can't get it any easier than that! It also comes with 3 fun stamp sets and 3 (9x12) sheets of dimensional elements that all work together! Also, in the new catalog~ you will see stamp sets with a red line around them~it means they are Cricut compatible! So much fun...you won't want to leave your machine! So, go check out the video and let me know what you think!

You Know You're A Scrapbooker When...

~the only scraps falling off your dinner table are paper!

~you go through a glue stick faster than a lipstick!

~you buy more paper than shoes!

~you drool over paper, have ink-stained fingertips, and are fascinated with chipboard!

~you dream about projects instead of Mr. Right!

I thought they were cute...anyone have any they want to add to the list? I know there's got to be more of them!
