12x12 Framed Gifts For The Holidays ~ Sonoma Paper ~ Cricut Collection ~ Beautiful Stamp Sets

The daycare was closed today and my family went to the Wild Animal Park...I know...they changed the name, but it's still that name to me. Anyway, we had a great time...but I still wanted to post today...so it's a bit late but I wanted to share the gifts I made for my daycare families. I took the photo with the pages not in the frames. I bought 12x12 black frames from the area craft store. I used "Sonoma" paper pack (X7143B), "Posterboard Alphabet" stamp set (E1014), "Love Life" stamp set (D1482), and "Cricut Art Philosophy Collection" (Z1686) for the shapes. I think they came out great! Hopefully they'll enjoy their gifts!     

Sonoma ~ Paper Packs ~ Workshop On The Go Kit ~ How-To Books

Today I thought I would share the paper pack "Sonoma" with you. You can buy the Workshop On The Go (G1028). It comes with: Level 2 paper pack, a special stamp set (can only get this set if you buy the wotg kit), a pack of mini-medley accents pewter collection, a sponge, & a workshop guide (directions to make some scrapbook layouts).

If your not really into stamping you can buy the paper pack (X7143B) and Sonoma My Stickease Assortment (lovely stickers) (X7143C) and make your own designs up (or you can use one of our great "How To" books). Either way, you'll have some fabulous scrapbook pages and/or cards.

Teacher's Holiday Gifts...That Are Bright And Cheery But Not Holiday Looking

Today I am sharing the gifts I made for my children's teachers. I made them the same gift...so in the picture that I took it shows you the front of one and the back of the other. I used the "Fanfare" (X7138B) paper pack. This paper pack is only available until the end of January...so if you want to get it...I say don't wait. I put the paper on plain chipboard (which was available in the last catalog). I also used the stamp set "Posterboard Alphabet" (E1014). I love this set! I thought the gifts came out cute. Hopefully their teacher's will enjoy them!

I thought today I would share an older video found at Art & Soul called "PBS Webisodes: Altering Chipboard". It gives some fun tips on what to do with chipboard. Yesterday I made some really cute "Welcome" signs as gifts for my children to give to their teachers. Holiday Cheer! In A Cute Container!

I thought I'd share another item we made at the holiday event I went to...this cute container! I plan to fill them up (I have 2 of them) with some caramel popcorn I bought when my son's cub scout group was selling popcorn...to give as gifts. I do still need to finish one of them (only got one done at the event) and I am planning to use a different stamp on the front. I'll show you pictures once that one is finished. I thought the lunch ladies at my children's school would like them. Who wouldn't love a little yummy popcorn in a cute container?!

Look At These Beautiful Holiday Cards!

I thought today I would share some cards I made at a holiday workshop I went to...the weekend after Thanksgiving. My upline Dawn put the workshop together. It was a lot of fun...and I was able to get a few little holiday gifts done. I also just hung out some and didn't finish some of the stuff so I will be working on them. I'll post them as I finish them. So, for today I have 2 cards to share with you. We used the stamp set "Holiday Wishes" that was the special in November. I love this set...so pretty! We also used the paper from "Elemental" paper pack. The cards were really easy to put together and came out really cute. Now I just have to figure out who to give them to!
