I thought I'd share this today...in case you need an idea for a card. I made this for my Mom (hopefully she won't see this post). I sponged the flowers...gave them color without a lot of work. I added some shimmer trim (my favorite product CTMH has). I like how it turned out. What do you think?

I'm Nuts About You ~ Valentine's Day Gift Idea ~ For The Non-Chocolate Lover!

Since today is Valentine's Day (hope it's a great day for you!) I thought I'd share a few items I made for my hubby. I wanted to decorate the can (it's cashews...he's not really a chocolate kind of guy)better but I ran out of time (plus he's a guy and will love eating what's inside...so I'm not going to sweat it). Just thought it was a cute idea so I wanted to share it.

 

Ps. I used my Cricut to cut out the tags / shapes. I used Washi tape (Z1933) on the tags (super easy to put together) and a few stamp sets (Words of Comfort C1524 / Holiday Tags D1560). I also added a little Black Shimmer Trim (Z1809) and the paper was Chantilly...which just retired.   

 

I love To Make Signs...What Do You Think Of These?

I thought I'd share two signs I've been working on. I finished them yesterday. I think they came out cute. (They are gifts for two special girls in my life.) I used a paper pack (Dream Pop) that was from a special we had not too long ago. The two stamp sets I used are Posterboard Alphabet (E1014) for the letters and the flowers were from a retired WOTG (Lucy). I do have to tell you...I think of all my stamp sets I love this alphabet set best. It is the most used set I own (which is somewhere around 100 sets right now...give or take). If you like this set you might want to buy it since I don't know if it will be available after this catalog. I also added Liquid Glass (Z679) to help the letters and flowers stay down and also to give them a little "pop"...and I don't want to forget, the black glitter is Shimmer Trim (Z1809)...another one of my favorite items! The signs came out so cute that my daughter asked me to make a sign for her room too...in pink (which is her all time favorite color).

       

Pretty Wedding Card

I thought today I'd share a card I made for a scrapbook buddy that got married at the end of April. I wanted to put something together that would be a little different than the usual wedding card. I think it came out cute. I used "Chantilly" paper (X7163B), 2 retired stamp sets, and my favorite stuff...black shimmer trim (Z1809). The 2nd photo is what I stamped on the inside of the card. Hopefully she already received the card (or doesn't see this post) since I mailed it a few days ago.
