Family Road Trip ~ Pier 39, Ghirardelli Square, Fishermans Wharf ~ We Had A Fun, Silly Day!

Today I am sharing pictures from our family road trip...I still have 2-3 days left to post of the photos. These were taken at Pier 39, Ghirardelli Square, and Fishermans Wharf. We ate lunch at the restaurant called "Wipe Out" (had some good food!). We also stopped in a store for left-handed people. My son and my cousin are both left-handed so I had to buy a few items for them. They had a cute saying on many of the items: "I may be left handed but I'm always right." Cute huh?! Anyway, the next day or so you'll find more posts about our trip...so make sure to stop back!
Ps. Saved the best for last...my hubby will do anything I ask...he's such a great guy!

Road Trip ~ Golden Gate Bridge, Lombard Street, Japantown, and Alcratraz!

Today I am sharing pictures from our road trip...taken when we were going back and forth over the Golden Gate Bridge, going down Lombard Street (the crookedest street in the world ~which we went down 2 different days), stopping at Japantown, and seeing Alcratraz. What I didn't know about Alcratraz is...you have to buy tickets far in advance if you want to visit it. They were sold out for a whole week. So, the picture you're going to see is...us in San Francisco looking at Alcratraz...from far away. My son was really bummed out. I say it just gives us a reason to visit SF again. Anyway, enjoy todays pictures!

Quote Book ~ Quotes To Add To Your Book ~ San Francisco

I thought I would do the quotes today to add to your quote book...

~"San Francisco is poetry. Even the hills rhyme." (P. Montandon)

~"No city invites the heart to come to life as San Francisco does. Arrival in San Francisco is an experience in living." (W. Saroyan)

~"San Francisco has only one drawback. 'Tis hard to leave." (R. Kipling)

~"It is a good thing the early settlers landed on the East Coast; if they'd landed in San Francisco first, the rest of the country would still be uninhabited." (H. Mye)

~"Leaving San Francisco is like saying goodbye to an old sweetheart. You want to linger as long as possible." (W. Cronkite)

I thought I would share some "San Francisco" type quotes today. My family and I are planning a trip there during summer break and thought these would be good to have on hand once I have pictures to scrapbook. Anyway, don't forget to stop back again for more quotes next week...and I wanted to add...no idea who or where I got these quotes...I've been saving them to use for my scrapbook pages / cards. So enjoy the quotes!
