Today I am sharing pictures from our road trip...taken when we were going back and forth over the Golden Gate Bridge, going down Lombard Street (the crookedest street in the world ~which we went down 2 different days), stopping at Japantown, and seeing Alcratraz. What I didn't know about Alcratraz is...you have to buy tickets far in advance if you want to visit it. They were sold out for a whole week. So, the picture you're going to see is...us in San Francisco looking at Alcratraz...from far away. My son was really bummed out. I say it just gives us a reason to visit SF again. Anyway, enjoy todays pictures!

What a bummer about Alcatraz. We aren't going there but I know we bought our train tickets (Skunk train) before we booked our hotels as we know they sell out. I know I am already thinking about our next road trip and we haven't even left for this one LOL. I know we will want to spend more time in the SF area.
ReplyDeleteI've been to Alcatraz 2 times before so I wasn't too upset but my little man really wanted to go. It was the only time he had a small meltdown...which is pretty good for a 7 year old on a big trip.
