Incase you didn't know...today is National Cookie Day! Now, that's my kind of day!! Then you need to get a can and decorate it to make it really cute...it would make a great gift for someone special for the holidays! Mint Chocolate Chip Cookies
Makes: 36 cookies / Takes approx. 40 mins.
**What you'll need**
1 pouch Betty Crocker sugar cookie mix, 1/2 cup butter or margarine softened, 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon mint extract, 6 to 8 drops green food color, 1 egg, 1 cup creme de menthe baking chips, and 1 cup semisweet chocolate chunks
~Mix everything together, drop dough 2" apart on ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes. Cool for 3 minutes; remove from cookie sheet to wire rack. Serve warm (yummy!) or cool completely (if you're planning to put them in the decorated can!)
